I have been driving
school bus for Oakesdale for 38 years! I have also been farming for most of
my life.
I was married for
21 years and had two children, Stuart and Katrina. Katrina is a Paralegal and
Accounting Supervisor for a law firm in Spokane.

I have worked for
the school district for about 21 years.
My husband Mike,
and I also own the corner grocery store in town. We have two sons who
graduated from Oakesdale High School Ð Sam in 2000 and Ben in 2003. Sam is
married and is in his 3rd year of medical school in Iowa. Ben is
in his senior year at EWU, majoring in Computer Science,
I love my job here
at Oakesdale School and plan to keep on driving until I retire!

My beginnings at Oakesdale
School were at the tender age of 5, and I graduated from OHS in 1979.
About 18 years ago,
Don Paden ran across the street and asked if I Òwanted to be a bus driver.Ó
My husband, Cory,
and I enjoy being able to raise our two sons Ð Riley, 15 and Cameron, 8 Ð on
our farm.
I love my job, my
co-workers and especially the kids.

Blake, my husband
of 28 years, and I moved to Oakesdale 16 years ago. We have 8 children ages
27 Ð 15 and 2 grandsons, ages 5 and 2.
I have been driving
for Oakesdale for the past 10 years.
My Dad is a retired
Navy man so we moved around quite a bit when I was growing up. I have lived
North, South, East and West, but have settled in and most enjoyed it here in
the Palouse area.

My husband and I
moved to Oakesdale in the summer of 2000.We have 3 children Ð RJ, Megan and
Joey. RJ graduated from OHS in 2002, Megan in 2005 and Joey is a sophomore.
This is my 5th
year as a bus driver and I have also been the Assistant Cook for the past 2
years.

I have been a
substitute bus driver in Oakesdale for 17 years.
I retired from the military
in 1977.I was a pilot for both rotary wing (helicopters) and fixed wing
(airplane) aircraft.
I have lived in
this area for 27 years. Two of my children graduated from Oakesdale Ð one
in1987 and one in1989.

After I
semi-retired from teaching, I decided I needed something to fill my ÒspareÓ
time. Kevin had asked me for several years if I was interested in being a
substitute school bus driver, so I thought IÕd give it a try Ð and it turns out I like it.
