I graduated from Hoquiam High School, Grays Harbor Community College and received a teaching certificate from Central Washington University. I received my Fifth Year Certificate from Eastern Washington University.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            

I moved to Oakesdale in September 1972. Ken and I were married in Hoquiam in June of 1973.  Chris was born in 1976 and Jeff in 1979. I taught for one year at Hoquiam High School and then four years at Oakesdale High School. I have been a school secretary in Tekoa for two years and in Oakesdale for twenty plus years!

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   

My favorite hobbies are reading mysteries, taking bubble baths and doing yard work. The favorite part of my job is getting to know students as they grow from Kindergartners to Seniors. Between sports activities, drama and day-to-day routines, I become very involved with our students!
