I have been working at the Oakesdale School Library for well over 25 years and with Technology for over 15 years and, my, how things have changed in that time!! We have truly entered the Digital Age and I see that reflected in the way students use the library and the various technologies available to them. My main goal before I retire is to have all the books on the library entered into a digital database and to have an Online Public Access Catalog. This would streamline both library use and library management. My husband, Marvin, and I raised our two children, Jeff and Marisa, in Oakesdale and they both graduated from WSU before seeking greener (and warmer!) pastures for their masterÕs degrees and careers. We love Oakesdale and fully intend to stay here and enjoy our ÒGolden YearsÓ watching future generations of Oakesdale students thrive in the wonderful atmosphere of our school and community. |
